Making a Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Simply choose the item you want and add it to your shopping cart. Once you have finished your selection click on 'check out' and you will be asked a few questions in order that we can process the order.

Orders may also be placed by post by sending it to Holistic Trading, Decoy House, Watton Carrs, Driffield, East Yorkshire, YO25 9RQ, accompanied by a cheque or postal order made payable to Holistic Trading. Please enclose a copy of your order along with a contact name, telephone number and full delivery address including the postcode.

Holistic Trading will accept no responsibility for payments that are lost in the post.

All prices quoted in the catalogue are exclusive of postage and packing charges, unless otherwise indicated. Delivery is possible WITHIN the UK ONLY. No orders are accepted from OUTSIDE the UK.
Please note that a multi product order may well be sent from two or three different suppliers and may therefore be subject to two or three different postage and packing charges.
The calculated P&P charges for the site are based on total order value to reflect the above situation.
We reserve the right to alter the quoted prices at any time.


Sourcing

All products offered on the Holistic Trading web site are shipped directly from the suppliers / manufacturers. Every effort is made to ensure that your choice is available but in the unlikely event that it is not then we will contact you as soon as possible to obtain further instructions. You may allow us to re-order when the stock becomes available, order an alternative product or cancel the order altogether at no cost to you.

Every effort is made to ensure that the product descriptions are accurate. This information is obtained from the suppliers and should be used as a guide to product choice. Should you be in any doubt as to the suitability of products for certain applications then further advice should be sought. Holistic Trading accepts no responsibility for any damage or injury that may be caused by the inappropriate use of any product supplied.

Delivery times

We will endeavour to pass all orders received by Holistic Trading onto the supplier within 1 working day. Thereafter it is usual for the supplier to despatch the order within 2 working days. However please allow up to 10 working days for delivery before contacting us. At this point we will allocate an enquiry reference number and investigate the non-appearance of the order.
Customers must supply the full delivery address, including the post code and a valid contact telephone number with each order.
Small parcels are usually despatched using Royal Mail first class post or standard parcel service. Bulkier and higher value products will be despatched via a courier. Some of these services require a signature at delivery. If this is so and there is no-one in then a card is usually left with instructions on how to retrieve the parcel from the courier's depot. Customers will be re-charged for delivery if the parcel is not collected from the depot or if for any reason the parcel is returned to the supplier due to inability to deliver.
If it is known that there will be a delay in the delivery of your order we will endeavour to let you know.
Delivery insurance will usually be available for up to £50.00 but additional insurance may be taken out by the customer if required.

Damaged or faulty goods

Any damaged or faulty goods must be reported within 3 days of receipt. Proof of damage, e.g. a photograph should be sent with the complaint. The problem will be investigated and if the complaint is upheld the goods will be replaced as soon as possible or a full refund will be made.

Returns policy

Products may be returned provided we are notified within 5 working days of receipt of the order.
Returns information required is 1) the order number;
2) customer's name
3) valid e-mail address
4) phone number, including the area code
5) quantity and name of product being returned
6) reason for return.
You will be contacted within 2 working days to advise of arrangements for return.
Unless the return is related to damaged or faulty goods the customer will be responsible for the full cost of returning the product.
Orders may be amended or cancelled any time prior to them being despatched. Any reasonable costs incurred by Holistic Trading and / or the supplier may be applied. No refund is payable on cancelled orders that have been produced specially for the customer.

Refunds

Refunds will be paid upon the safe return of the goods in unused / unopened and pristine condition. No refund of postage and packing charges for either the initial shipping or for return will be paid for such goods.

Complaints

In the unlikely event that you need to complain about a product or a service please contact us in a way convenient to you. Acknowledgement of receipt of the complaint will be sent within 1 working day and a specific contact will be given. The problem will be investigated and resolved as soon as possible.

Holistic Trading is committed to ensuring that your shopping experience is both hassle free and enjoyable. Any suggestions as to how the service can be improved will be gratefully received for consideration.

Privacy

Our priority is the security of your personal information.
Holistic Trading is also committed to protecting your privacy and will never knowingly disclose your personal information to a third party except where necessary to complete the ordering process, i.e. It will be necessary to send your information to the supplier so that the order can be shipped out to you.
The information received will be used to complete orders, to keep you informed of the progress of your order and to send you further information.
If you register your e-mail with us for new product updates your e-mail address will never be passed onto a third party. You can always ask us to remove your details from our database at any time by contacting us using the details on the 'contact us' page.
